Business Problem
Our client approached us needing a solution that addressed the need to maintain growth and competitiveness in increasingly generalized markets within the animal-pharma industry. As markets become more saturated there is a pressing need for our client to differentiate its products and deliver value to customers. This requires the development of innovative new products that address unmet market needs and provide unique value propositions. Additionally, our client expressed the necessity to foster ongoing collaboration and teamwork among global cross-functional teams to effectively generate, refine, and implement these innovative ideas for the future.
Proposed Solution
Sabii Digital facilitated a four-day workshop designed to strengthen the client’s product innovation strategy by fostering collaboration across global, cross-functional Therapy Area (TA) Leadership Teams. Leveraging Design Thinking, structured methodologies, and market analysis, the workshop empowered participants to identify opportunities, gaps, and unmet needs within their therapeutic areas—ultimately enhancing team cohesion and productivity.
Participants engaged in hands-on activities that applied innovative thinking frameworks and customer insights to real-world challenges. Through dynamic brainstorming and guided facilitation, the workshop generated approximately 1,000 solution ideas spanning various therapy areas. These ideas were refined into 37 concrete product concepts, forming a portfolio of opportunity proposals aligned with the client’s short- and long-term strategic goals.
Conclusion
By the end of the workshop, every attendee felt empowered to contribute valuable insights and ideas, equipped with practical tools and strategies to apply in their roles. While only 58% of participants initially believed there was adequate engagement among Therapy Area Leadership Team (TALT) colleagues, 100% agreed that the workshop significantly increased their likelihood of collaborating with peers moving forward. Additionally, participants reported a 173% increase in strong confidence regarding their knowledge of TALT responsibilities and deliverables. With a satisfaction rate of 95%, nearly all attendees expressed a willingness to participate in similar workshops in the future.
These outcomes not only demonstrate the tangible impact of the workshop but also underscore its critical role in fostering collaboration across global teams and advancing our client’s innovation agenda.
