Project Overview

Sabii Digital partnered with our pharmaceutical client to introduce a 'Go to Market' plan for a new vaccine. The client sought innovative digital strategies to enhance disease awareness among their targeted demographic, improve accessibility across communities, and address operational challenges within the healthcare space in a post-pandemic world.

Challenge

Despite having a breakthrough product, our client approached us with the challenge of launching a new vaccine in a transformed market, targeting a demographic they had not previously focused on. Furthermore, a competitor was also scheduled to launch a similar vaccine within a similar timeframe. Our client sought our assistance in leveraging digital strategies to devise innovative approaches for introducing their product to the market.

Sabii Digital worked closely with our client, collaborating and understanding their challenges to develop digital solutions that aligned with their customer and company needs. The goal was to utilize technology to educate recipients about the importance of immunization, improve access within marginalized communities, and enable healthcare providers to administer the vaccine smoothly and efficiently.

Solution

Recognizing the impact of recent changes within the global vaccination landscape, our team understood the need to adapt our solutions to this new reality. Consequently, we carefully evaluated smart tech solutions, third-party healthcare services, and other digital strategies to present over 30 proof of concepts along with a comprehensive plan of action to test and implement in time for our client's vaccine rollout to the market.

During our analysis, we identified three key areas for improvement to focus our concepts on, ensuring a successful product launch for our client: enhancing access to comprehensive information for informed decision-making, restructuring the vaccination process for a more comfortable and positive experience, and streamlining the vaccine administration process for providers.

To guarantee the feasibility and viability of our solutions, our team conducted thorough analyses incorporating market research, user demographics, operational costs, benefits, and risks. We also facilitated workshops and implemented test and learn plan trials, including prototypes and detailed path-to-proof models. Lastly, we rigorously tested multiple concepts to ensure their alignment with the market and the product's fit.

Conclusion

Sabii provided technical and business assessments for all four applications along with comparison documents to similar existing applications in the client’s environment. Feasibility assessments for migration along with support plans for each application and suggestions for support and lifespan. All four applications were successfully migrated from their original AWS environment to the client’s Azure environment. Of these applications, two were a lift-and-shift. One required mobile app testing and debugging. Minor updates were required for two applications in order to comply with new policies and standards. Over one thousand users in multiple continents were successfully migrated over from the old application to the new one. The success of the Sabii team in this project was due to their collaboration with the client and meticulous attention to detail and planning to ensure minimal business impact.
